Join us every Monday from 9am–12pm.

This program provides the narrow road to a content, godly lifestyle in Jesus for women, moms, and wives in the community who are struggling and may even be at their last straw for survival.

Our women in the community program encourage ladies to surrender their all to Jesus completely and trust that only God’s goodness for their lives will come out of the surrendering process. Our women and moms program teaches biblical lessons through the Bible. It engages to encourage women to walk according to the word of God for their salvation.

Moms activity is on Thursdays when moms with children at our center come into our center and engage in better parenting and bonding with their little ones who attend through a weekly group bible study.

We also provide one-on-one bible studies and discipleship for any woman who needs it. The program’s goal is to join in with the moms as we come alongside them to raise their children in the ways of the Lord. We help moms with needs, from bills, clothes, shoes, food, shelter, jobs, and more. During our bible studies, our fellowship involves:

  • Prayers.
  • Arts and crafts activity.
  • Bonding lessons to teach the moms how to navigate parenting to their little children better.

Moms and women are also encouraged to work or attend school to gain independence and care for themselves or their children independently. We highly encourage the women and moms to connect with Campus church in Pensacola, FL, to join as their spiritual.

Please keep this ministry in your prayers and donate at heavenshiningstars.com/donate. We would love it if you visited our center at 4500 N Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32526, to volunteer. Contact us at (850)466-5284 for more questions.

  • New Life, New Purpose for Living
Meet Deaysha and her daughter Azharagf. This beautiful mom and her daughter recently moved to Pensacola. Desperately in need of childcare, Deayshas mom Vetta found Deaysha free childcare at the Light Bible Center where she can bring her daughter while she works. When Deaysha is not working, she would study the word of God at “The Light Center.” Our first Bible study was filled with hope, tears and joy for the future. With a difficult past as a single mom, Deaysha spend many days depressed and in doubt about her salvation. Even though she was raised in church, life without God was hopeless. At the Light ministry during a one on one Bible study, Deaysha confessed that she may not go to heaven if she died. Well her faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, through the word and prayer would change everything. Deaysha made a decision to be born again and live for Jesus. God accepted Deaysha in her current state. Deaysha was baptized at Campus Church and resurrected to life in the Spirit of God. She now lives a bountiful hopeful life in her close daily relationship with God. To God be the glory. Thanks be to Jesus alone for her new life and a hopeful purpose and salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Heaven is now so hopeful and assuring in Jesus.
  • Testimony by Mrs. Reva

I started taking my girls to Little Light Mommy and Me Center. Ms. Joanna really helped me with my struggle of stealing, through Bible Study and Women’s gatherings. As a young girl, I’ve always wanted a Cadillac Escalade.

When I was younger, I would steal money to get my Escalade. I would steal money out of my Dads wallet. I would steal my Grandmothers social security money. I would steal money out of my mothers purse. I would steal money from my mothers coworkers purses and cubicles. I would steal money out of my brothers best friends wallet. I would steal money from my brother. I stole money from my moms office coffee fund. I even stole money from my church tithe and offering. I stole $200 from my dads best friend and even lied about where I got it from. After my mom had been getting complaints about money at her office turning up missing, she found my hidden stash of stolen money. When my mom asked me about where I got almost $500 from, I lied and said that it was all my birthday money, Christmas money and money that I had found. She later tithed it all to my church when I finally told her the truth.

I was so caught up in stealing peoples money that I had completely let the devil himself take over all of my mind, heart and souls.

I gave into so much temptation because all I cared about and was focused on was getting me a Cadillac Escalade. I sinned so much. I didn’t understand that this was not the way that God wanted me to get my Escalade. My whole mindset was I’m going to get this Escalade my way no matter how I got it.

I have gotten saved and now am able to resist the temptation of stealing because God has done so much to help me through my very tough struggles. I have not stolen from anywhere because God and Ms. Joanna have helped me to realize that God will give me my Escalade when God is ready for me to have it. Stealing is so wrong. I will not steal anymore or ever let the devil tempt me to go against God and steal ever again.
