Weekly bible-centered program for children 3–5 years old Monday–Friday from 8 a.m.–2p.m.
This program provides a weekly Bible-centered program for children who are underprivileged or simply interested in being part of a Bible-centered weekly activity.
We provide transportation for children 3–5 years old and live in the projects or neighborhoods without transportation. During the week, our program offers a weekly kindergarten readiness curriculum for these children using Abeka and Joyful Life resources. We prepare the children to be ready for school after they graduate from our program and move on to kindergarten or 1st grade.
Aside from our weekly Bible-based kindergarten readiness program,
we also provide special activities daily.

| Friday | Reading buddies. This Little Light of Mine program provides an excellent opportunity for the children to develop a love of reading. |
We also prepare the children at This Little Light of Mine to perform two special productions for the community each year (The Birth of Jesus and the Resurrection of Jesus). These special productions provide two occasions for the children to invite family and others in the community to come to watch them minister through performing arts.
During June, we provide a summer Vacation Bible School for children 3 to 18 years old using the same Bible activities that we use during the school year. Volunteers from Campus Church, Hillcrest Church, and born-againGodly believers in the community facilitate our children’s program.

- Happy Holidays from The Light Bible Cub
We ended our 2024 Bible club with fire 🔥. Praise the Lord for all the work that the Lord did at TA through Kaleb’s Bible club. So so many children are saved to the glory of God through this Bible club. What a faithful God we serve. Thank you to all the volunteers that came out and everyone for your continual labor for the gospel !!!!

The Light Bible Ministries is seven weeks into our 2024–2025 Bible program. After the exciting completion of our homeless project and renovations this summer, we launched our newest ministry, which has taken off powerfully by the grace of God.
Our Spiritual Mentor Program reaches out to the incredible, amazing children in the projects, ages 6–18. This new ministry aims to disciple each child consistently every week through personal Bible study, helping them grow in their knowledge of Jesus. Our mentors also take the children to church once a week, becoming their spiritual guides.
Once a month, we hold a large outreach event in the projects where we engage with the Word of God through worship, games, puppet shows, juggling, balloon shows, and more.
Our other Bible activities have also flourished by the grace of God at our center, where our new students are learning biblical truths through special programs that include Abeka school readiness, Bible art and performance, nature day, gardening, Gospel puppet shows, and our reading buddies program. God has been so gracious, allowing all the moms to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus. During our women’s Bible studies, we are learning how to fall in love with Jesus.
Our homeless outreach is gradually evolving. We conduct daily Bible studies that are bringing tremendous change to the community through the love of Jesus. We have partnered with a nearby grocery store that hires women in our program, helping them work towards stable housing. From Tuesday to Friday, we pray for, feed, and provide food, clothing, and other necessities to the homeless. More importantly, we share the gospel, and many homeless women are coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus. Knowing Jesus and overcoming homelessness means so much to our ministry, making consistent Bible study at the center vital. God is so good.
We praise the Lord that The Light Bible Ministries is growing in a way that is only possible with God. Thank you to the many volunteers and supporters who are invested in this Kingdom work and diligently pray and serve through our ministry to enhance the Kingdom of God.
- This Little Light of Mine Renovations
With the help of many brothers and sisters in Christ, we were able to give This Little Light of Mine children a new classroom, playroom, outside play yard with a brand new chicken coop and fresh grass, a secure side gate away from the busy street and from the homeless traffic. The children’s colorful classroom will make any child happy to learn about Jesus. Through the goodness of God, This Little light of MIne received a bright and beautiful facelift. Thank you everyone who helped to restore the center.
- Graduation 2024
Graduation 2024 was a beautiful reward to the LORD. This Little light of Mine children’s ministry did a fantastic job sharing what they learned all year. Children and women in the community started with no deep knowledge of God and ended with salvation in Jesus, many Bible songs, the word of God in their hearts, academically ready for kindergarten and a sense of perfect peace in Jesus deep within each of them.

- Jesus is Alive Performance
Happy Resurrection from “The Light Bible Ministries.” We live for one reason alone and that is because our Savior Jesus lives. We should be in despair and distress but we are not, we rejoice and is glad because JESUS Is ALIVE FOREVER so we will also live forever. The enemy could not hold Jesus is the grave and so we will not be held in the grave. Praise the Lord. Christ arose and so will we!!!!!!!

At the Light Ministry, our goal is to plant the seed of Jesus inside each child all throughout the year. Our prayer is to equip each child to be ready for the world ahead, with a grounded solid foundation in Jesus Christ. Even though our free childcare helps each working mom to leave their children in our care, the care we give the children has a goal attached to it to guide the children to love Jesus each day. Our yearly graduation ceremony is a time for the children to share with the community everything they have learned throughout the year. It is a fun exciting time together and opportunity to shine our Light for Jesus.
- Preschool Graduation 2022
Graduation 2022 was fantastic. Lots of tears of joy, hugs, love, singing, dancing, pictures and sweet memories. The children who are graduating to kindergarten had a wonderful performance for their families and loved ones.
God has been so good and we give all the glory to God who kept us away from all harm and danger all year long. The enemy attempted in many ways to shut down the work of God but he had no success and now we stand here in awe of the goodness of God. Don’t fight your own battles, let God fight them for you. You will come out victorious. Have a great summer everyone.

- Jesus is My Superhero Spring Performance
Having life is the biggest blessing. I am so thankful for the life God has given me. As I read through Ezekiel chapter 16 and understand that I came out of a broken vessel, I’m reminded about the blood of Jesus that saved me and all mankind. I cannot wrap my mind around Gods grace. We have more worth than all the gold and silver ever created. Jesus paid it all for me and you who also believe, trust and obey in his words.
A few weeks ago, the children at “This little light of Mine Bible Center” shared the greatest story of all times with their family, loved ones and community. Check them out.

- Highlights of Winter 2022 at This Little Light Bible Center
The biggest testimony that each mom at The Light Ministry can testify to is the joy through Bible songs that their child/children has after enrolling at the center. Each child immediately starts singing Bible songs at home. The miracle that God does in transforming these precious childrens hearts into fullness of joy when they start attending “This Little Light of Mine” is the most delightful reward. This past winter, the children shared their most valuable gift Jesus Christ to their family’s, friends and community through a special production titled “Away in the Manger.” Each child received a special gift from Supporters after the special performance. Boxes and boxes of food from Campus Church was given to the moms, families and the homeless community. The giving was in abundance and God was given all the glory, honor and adoration.
